International Seminar on High Temperature Structural Performance in Power Generation

Current Knowledge & Future Challenges

The High Temperature Facility Alliance will be hosting an international seminar bringing together experts in high temperature structural materials.

Location: Manchester, UK

Date:  19 – 21 September 2016

There will be technical presentations from international industrial and academic experts and panel discussions exploring current and future challenges with a focus on the nuclear sector. This promises to be a unique international event with presentations

from organisations such as AREVA, EDF, EPRI, KAERI, NNL, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the University of Liverpool, Uniper

and many more. The agenda can be downloaded below.

Who Should Attend and Why?

We welcome participation from technical specialists with an interest in high temperature materials performance and structural integrity assessments including those in academia, national laboratories and industry from a range of sectors but with an emphasis on the nuclear arena. Our ambition is to help shape the direction of research in this field and agree emergent testing requirements for high temperature structural materials.
